takashi murakami: ego

Japanese pop artist du jour Takashi Murakami is showing his latest work at the  Al-riwaq exhibition hall in Qatar. Named Ego, the exhibition is Murakami exploring his conflict with his various ‘selfs’, each existing concurrently in many fantastical universes he creates and  populates. Consisting many of his previous works, as well as several new ones like the inflatable “welcome to murakami -­ ego”, this is positioned as THE final word on who and what is the artist known as Takashi Murakami.
