Since 1913, LSU has continuously maintained its SACSCOC accreditation, which was most recently reaffirmed in 2024. A key part of the reaffirmation of accreditation requires institutions to develop and implement a Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP) every five years to demonstrate their commitment to academic excellence and student learning and success. The university will submit its next review in 2030 for the SACSCOC Fifth-Year Interim Report, and its next reaffirmation of accreditation is in 2034.
