Internships are one-year, non-degree programs that provide advanced training for practice in medicine and surgery, experience in clinical instruction and preparation for residency and graduate study. Most programs offer opportunities to rotate through a variety of specialties within LSU Vet Med and can be tailored to the specific interests of individual interns. Internship programs include Anesthesia & Analgesia, Cardiology, Dermatology, Food Animal Medicine & Surgery, Small Animal Integrative Medicine & Rehabilitation, Small Animal Medicine & Surgery, Small Animal Surgery, Diagnostic Imaging, Emergency & Critical Care, Equine Medicine & Surgery, Medical Oncology, and Zoological Medicine.  Availability of internship programs vary.  To view current internship opportunities please visit .
